Maisy and Hunter's story was one where i couldn't read fast enough to figure out my questions that i need answers to! I really enjoyed reading Maisy after everything she had been thru in The Coppersmith Farmhouse. Her story ended up fantastic and i couldn't have picked a better man for her. I loved little Coby. He could make anyone love him.

I was excited to read Maisie's story. After all of the horror of her and GiGi's ordeal in the earlier books, I wanted her to find a worthy man.
Hunter is such a sweetheart. I love that he's a dr with a man bun. Of course, he could have done better about sharing his info earlier but I kind of understand his reluctance. I knew there were ties to things that he didn't want to acknowledge but I wasn't prepared for all the revelations.
Maisie is a survivor. With everything that has happened to her, it's a wonder that she didn't run far away from Montana. I appreciated that they discussed her PTSD and acknowledged that she might need to revisit therapy.
I was shocked with Nell's reemergence.
I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading the next book.

Maisy is by far the most anticipated character in this series. After what she went through in the first book 1, the Coppersmith Farmhouse, I was really excited to learn more about her and the after effects of the events that took place.

She meets Hunter who is a guest at her Inn that she owns with her almost 4 year old son. And she has an immediate connection to. But he is mysterious and doesn’t talk much about his past. Hunter is finally back in Prescott and can no longer stay away from the only girl he’s always wanted since he laid eyes on her 3 years ago. But he has secrets and when Maisy finds out she may never give him a chance.

Maisy was definitely a complex character. She used work as a way to cope and threw herself into projects to stay busy. She’s an amazing mother who has a hard time letting people in. But slowly she has watched all her friends and family find their one and she wants that for herself. She has a hard time trusting Hunter at first because of her past and it takes away for her to give him. Hunter was a good character is not a question mark. You don’t find out a lot about him until the end.

This book was a lot of miscommunication through the series. And to be honest Maisy bothered me. While I won’t spoil anything I don’t think she handled the big reveal right. She was hurt and betrayed but also refused to let him tell her for weeks? And then Hunter was fully to blame. Without that I would’ve enjoyed this story a lot better but I couldn’t get past how it all happened.

I enjoyed Maisy and Hunter's story! Maisy's maturity shows through her parenting and her work ethic. She is such an endearing and lovable person. I loved her relationship with her family and Colby.

Hunter was a man not realizing he was looking for a home, and he found it with Maisy. His heart was in the right place, and his methods questionable, but I enjoyed how they worked through the events and became stronger.

This story had such a perfect ending. It also ended the series so well. (I know there's a novella, which I can't wait to read.) Maisy and Hunter were perfect for one another. Thank you, Devney Perry, for another incredible read.
