I really can't decide if I like this, or The Outpost more. I have been looking forward to Maisy's story since the first book. She has been through so much and deserved the very best and I am so glad she found that in Hunter. Hunter was as close to perfect as you can get. He was always there for not only Maisy but Coby. Although he had his secrets it was always his intentions to tell her. He also respected her space when she needed it. I loved the family aspect of this book. The Holt family always seemed close but you can really see it in this book. I really wish we would get a book about Michael. Overall, I really loved Hunter and Maisy's relationship. They went though a lot but always worked things out together. Their banter and chemistry was off the charts and Coby was just the icing on top for this book.

It's okay to be scared,Maze, but don't let that fear keep you from being happy

I really enjoyed this and I was actually really impressed with some of the twists and that they weren't entirely predictable. I think some of what Hunter did was a bit dodge but still better than Jess and Nick as a love interest.

“Catch the big fish, Son. And when you do, don’t let her go, no matter how hard she fights”

This author just keeps getting better omg literally all of her books are solid 4 stars and I know I can always read one of them just to feel the comfort of a small town romance. They are always a little bit dramatic with kidnaps and murders but nothing too over the top that I can’t handle

Loved. This. Series. It was perfect! ♥
