Maisey has been with us since book 1 in the Coppersmith Farmhouse, I have been waiting for her story since then. I love how we got bits and pieces of her through the series and I was very happy to finally get her book. I enjoyed Hunter as a MMC but I was getting a *little annoyed* by the secrets that he refused to tell Maisey. But it did add tension to the relationship and kept me engaged because I wanted to know what they were. Colby was also a shining star in this book (like most kids are for me), and I loved seeing his relationship with Hunter as much I enjoyed Hunter and Maisey's relationship. I really enjoyed this book and it was a great way to end the Jamison Valley series.

“Maisy Holt was pure joy. She was goodness personified. She was a beam of sunshine breaking through the clouds in my life. I’d walked away from her back then. I’d avoided her the last time I’d lived in Prescott. I wouldn’t do either ever again. I wasn’t giving her up without a fight. I’d come to Prescott with a plan: to look out for this beautiful soul. My plan had just changed. Now I was here to win her heart.”
Hunter and Maisy may not have been my favorite couple, but their plot was the best overall 👏🏻
Really enjoying the entirety of this series. Really quick reads with suspense, small town drama and swoony love stories.
Single mom Maisy is having a full time with her son, family and taking care of her inn. So when a stranger strolls in to her inn she is literally tongue tight upon seeing him, talk ahout love at first sight.
Hunter is new in town, but he is not as forthcoming about his reason to stay. He had the mysterious stranger thing down for sure. I just think that he should have been more open about his past, especially once they became close.
The mystery aspect was dominant in the book with just the right amount of suspense.

4 stars, 2.5-3 pepper
Forgive me, I should have reviewed this when I finished it last week!
A bit of the plot has left my head, but what has stuck -
I am so happy we finally got a story for Maisy, I actually never read the first book in the series but her trauma is a talked about through all the other books. Maisy is really relatable because shes closed on, hyper independent, she sticks her head into work to avoid talking about her issues.
I really liked Hunter as well. Though his POV did feel a little stalkery to begin with LOL. I love seeing romances with single parents that really show the parent child relationship as well as a growing relationship with the significant other.
There were some predictable plot items in this book, and there were others that I was totally suprised, or I knew something was coming but I couldn't figure it out.
I do think Devney Perry does a good job showing Mental Illness, as well as kindness and forgiveness in this book.

I have to admit I was worried, the last 2 book were just ok for me. But I LOVED the first 2 and well I was invested in this series so I had to see how it was going to play out.
I am so glad I took the leap this book is as good as the first two in my opinion.
Maisy is a favorite of mine and someone I wanted to get her HEA from very early on. I am kind of glad she was the last book because she had time to grow as a character and we got to see it. Her book is everything I hoped it would be and more.
I loved Coby, he was the cutest little kid ever. I am a huge fan when authors add kids into the mix and not only that but when they are rooted in the story and not thought of as a side character.
When we meet Hunter you just have this feeling that he is going to mend Maisy’s heart and she doesn’t even know it yet. What hooked me was the way he was with Coby and you can feel the love he has for him right away.
Sigh so glad I listened to this book and the narration… Oh, it will sweep you off your feet. Fantastic choice in the narration.
