Thank you to valentine PR and Jennifer Millikin for the ARC in return for my honest review. If you love small town romance and brothers best friend, this book is for you. A very easy read and a cute romance. The different points in time are great to get the full experience and it’s an easy to follow timeline. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

Jennifer Millikin is officially the queen of romance books that make me weepy.

I hope the ending means Greer is getting her own book?!

I loved this book so much, Georgia and Rhodes’ story was so deep and emotional. And the story line was so much more than I was expecting, the reason Rhodes really broke up with Georgia?? I was not expecting that. Overall just a great read and I can’t wait to read more of Jennifer Millikin’s books.

Better Than Most by Jennifer Millikin is a heartwarming second chance/brother’s best friend romance for Rhodes and Georgia. Rhodes Porter is a sore subject for Georgia. He was her first love, her first everything, really, but no one knew they were together. After he broke up with her with some suspect excuse, she struggled to put the pieces back together. Now, years later, they are both back in town, and she can’t seem to deny that indelible connection they have. But will the secrets from the past finally come out and ruin their chance at a future?

This is my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it. The romance aspect was sweet and low angst. The characters were very relatable, and I loved the small town feel. There was plenty of drama with the emotional impact of the stuff from the past to keep things interesting. The only thing that frustrated me a bit was the ultimate cause for the break-up didn’t seem significant enough to wait that many years to try to get her back.

I was so bored by the last half, couldn’t care less about them. I didn’t like either of the mcs and the pllt was very wattpad. The pace was off, things weren’t handled as I would’ve wanted.

Georgia Whittier has been in love with Rhodes Porter since they were teenagers. He is her older brother's best friend, but things happened and he ended up breaking her heart. They used to do everything together, but when she left for college he used it as an excuse and walked away. She has always wondered why he really left, because his excuse was thin, but will he ever tell her the truth?

A decade has passed and Rhodes is back for good. He knows she hates him and would do anything to change her mind. He just has to tell her what really happened. Rhodes' feelings has never changed for her, but Georgia won't let him in. Until Dakota tells them to be at the Sierra Grande farmer's market and he is buying her blackberry orange jam. Maybe he can get her to soften her heart some especially when he wears a hat that has an old note she wrote to him into the brim of it.

Better Than Most was my first book by Jennifer Millikin and I am so glad that I gave it a chance. This was a very cute book and really hit home a few times for me because my mom is getting up there now and I am worried about how she will get around alone. I feel that when she heard how Rhodes feels about her, she softened very quickly, but she has loved him over the years as well so I can see how she just couldn't fight it anymore. This book was very cute and sweet and if that is what you are looking for, then this is for you.

Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review.

another much needed palette cleanser that read like a wattpad book. all that angst for a lackluster smut scene and mediocre love confessions.
