Diffrences!

This book is at times really sharp. The characters say awful things to each other. Very angsty. But I enjoyed how different the characters are compaired to other romances. Different as I mean a trait (or a few traits) that one always sees in a man is in a woman or vice versa. Not all the traits, mind you, but enough that the characterization is different. Half the time i was like, damn he's mean, then the other half I was like, yeah I know why you said that.

disappointed with why they took so long to get together it was such a flimsy excuse and they were cowards.

It's been a while that I haven't read a delicious toxic and sexy couple. There are beautiful redemptions for each of them by the end. But during, it was like watching a messy band show or movie with the back and forth between the two main characters.
You get a little bit of Dom and Sub
Music, bands, and groupie ambiance
And all the spice to make you sweat!

I finally decided to read this book and I was really excited about it, we read about Lauren in the previous book and while I enjoyed the story I still felt like something was missing. For me it was a short and easy read but I expected more tension between the characters and more growth to them, Cam had a crush on Lauren for years but he still treated her badly most of the time. They went back and forth throughout all the book and some of their interactions didn’t make sense sometimes.

I really wanted to love the story but the side characters didn’t give much to the story either. Lauren’s mom was awful most of the time and they both bickered a lot. Everyone thought Lauren was still a party girl even though she always tried to put her daughter first. She was a good mom but the DNA thing was also something I didn’t like. Basically she just decided who the father of her daughter was going to be just because of how her relationship was with him at the time and I didn’t like how she acted with that aspect.

So in general I enjoyed some things but I still expected more, they acted childish most of the time and while at the end everything worked out between them I still wanted to see more of Cam groveling and Lauren acting more mature.

Wow, this book was extremely hard to put down.

Camden is a total control freak who is crazy obsessed with Lauren, a girl he’s had a crush on since they were teenagers.
Lauren is a firecracker who doesn’t really like being told what to do.

Because they’re total opposites their relationship is hot one minute and cold the next but I was rooting for them the entire time. Their banter made me laugh and their tender moments made me swoon.

I binged it in a day, so believe me when I say… YOU NEED TO ADD THIS TO YOUR TBR RIGHT FREAKING NOW!

Thank you Skyler for sending me an early copy!
