Charming and offbeat tale of a relationship reversal, with Steve Catson and his man pet Manfried.

This was a delightful comic about the trials of Steve Catson and Manfried (his man). Life isn't going to great for Steve-- his job sucks, his friends are all reaching life milestones and he's alone, with his man. (He's well on his way to becoming a crazy man cat!)

The illustrations are clean. And the reversal of man/cat relations are quite funny. I will add that the men are anatomically correct in a non-graphic way-- like you might draw a cartoon cat.

I enjoyed this graphic. How would a world look if cats ruled the world and humans were their pets? It was entertaining, sad, and humorous, especially seeing humans do the same things cats do. I liked Caitlin's sketchbook at the end. It was interesting to see how this graphic came about. I will definitely read the next one in the series.

Very cute little comic in which giant anthropomorphic cats have tiny cat-like pet men. There are a lot of great gags about keeping tiny men as pets, and if you're a cat-lover there's a lot to relate to in the story. I picked this up in the comic book shop to cheer myself up today, and it really worked.

I have adored this comic from its first public iteration and I am thrilled it was expanded into such a delightful and fun book. Truly a fantastic and well-executed concept. I love Manfried. Art is perfect, colors are great. Story is engaging and relatable. High recommend especially for any cat lover.

Basically a graphic novel set in a world where anthropomorphic cats keep tiny naked little humans that can only say "Hey!" The cat protagonist is kind of a fuckup who lives in a messy house and works (poorly) at a call center. Manfried, his pet man, manages to escape out of an open window. He then goes to great lengths to get his pet man back.

Be forewarned, there is a lot of casual nudity. Pretty much every page has at least one tiny little dong on it, as the pet men are all nude all of the time.

If you look at this cover and think "Oh, man! A book where cats are people and people are cats? I hope there are several hundred pages exploring every possibility that switcheroo has to offer!" then this might be a five star book for you.

If you look at the cover and the description, and think "I hope there's something more to the gimmick than just people are cats and cats are people." don't just walk, run away from this book.

I recommend it for people who really, really, really like jokes about cats. Like really, really, really. I love cats, but this was not for me. I also recommend it for people who enjoy anthropomorphized memoir comics with a simple twist.
