Not gonna lie I think this book put me in a slump. I thought it was a bit...jarring...to see Lo and Lily try to overcome their addictions which is fine but throughout the book part of me was wondering when they (especially Lily) would just try and move on with her life. It also felt like Lo was enabling her at some points. The plot didn't really pick up until the very end, and to me the twist didn't even seem logical at all. Like why would
Sara Hale even try to ruin the reputation of her son's brother and girlfriend when she wasn't even involved in the first place? Idk she doesn't seem like the type of person to snoop through Ryke's messages so why start now?

let me start this off with my favorite scene in the book:

"Children," Connor says, breaking our (Lo & Ryke's) feud. "As entertaining as this is, doesn't Lily have a Stats exam in a half hour?"

leave it up to connor cobalt to be the dad in this group.

personally, this book was so much than the first two ([b:Addicted to You|22296542|Addicted to You (Addicted, #1)|Krista Ritchie|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1400803526s/22296542.jpg|24945287] & [b:Ricochet|22296725|Ricochet (Addicted, #1.5)|Krista Ritchie|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1400803843s/22296725.jpg|25187508]). i've enjoyed this so much more than i initially thought i would, a few parts blew me away, i love that i got to know more about ryke and daisy as i wasn't warming up to them just yet before this book, but now i'm excited to read their story.

i'm so fucking proud of how far lily & lo have come. they've grown and learned so much (both from the many months apart as well as at present time). seeing them working together to work on their struggles makes me so, so happy. they both believed (and bring out) the best in each other when no one else does; their unwavering faith in each other—it is lily & lo against the world.

at some point i was terrified that lo was going to go back to the way he was, but he managed to come to terms with it with the help of ryke and i love to see them supporting each other through their own ways and the scene between them towards the end made me cry so hard. the last few chapters are probably my favorite.
Spoiler: lo breaking down and calling lily, lo going to aaron wells, them finding out who terrorized lily & lo comforting ryke after that. my heart clenches whenever i think of that.

i really hate myself for starting this series when i have so much work to do that i've been ignoring .

I cried. I love Lilo sm omg.

"She doesn’t have to say, I love you because… The
sentiment is attached to each and every word. She loves me because she believes I’m strong. She loves me because she’s a part of me. She loves me because I’ve become a better man through all of
this." HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MOVE ON FROM THIS????

Honorary mention to roseconnor I can't wait to read them omg.
