This was definitely much better than the other books in the series so I'm glad I stuck it out.
Lily and Loren are both recovering addicts and are going through their own journies to heal and while they fear the road to recovery might involve them going their separate ways eventually, it's more likely they'll be each other's rock. Loren's back from rehab and Lily's seeing a sex therapist, so although it may be a bumpy road, things seem to be looking up.
Except Lily's addiction is not so easily addressed and Loren is doing everything in his power to make sure he's there for her. Her recovery goes hand in hand with him being and staying healthy. When things start to improve but when the group start to receive anonymous texts and packages in the mail, they're worried that someone out there will destroy all of Lily's progress. Her family is in the dark and she's kept the secret to herself and Lo for as long as she could, but there's no doubt that she's not ready for her family to learn about how she's been struggling.
I really liked the group of our mains this time around. Connor seems to be the one my brain has a death grip on but Ryke isn't far behind. WHILE I LIKED LO, I think these two will fuck me right up and I'm kinda thrilled about it. I'm glad I stuck it out because I found this read much more substantial and worth my time than the others. The drama just never stopped.
The Ryke and Daisy storyline is a little confusing but I will keep my opinions to myself for a little and see what happens with that one.
Overall I enjoyed it and I will be back! I'm just going to take a short break in the meantime.

Best book out of the series in my opinion! I was more engaged during this book and more shocked and reactive. I really wasn’t a fan of the ending. It felt a bit rushed, but nonetheless, it was a good book.
