This was the first book I read in 2023 and to say I was pleasantly surprised was and understatement. I was overjoyed! I really enjoyed this book both for the romance heavy plot with the incorporation and exposure of different romance tropes as well as the nostalgic high school vibes associated with senior year and making memories. The plot was easy to follow and to relate to. Lynn Painter truly has a way with words and it is suffice to say that I will definitely be reading more of her books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!

SO CUTE, I WANT TO EAT THIS BOOK. IT WAS ADORABLE, FUNNY AND FRICKING AWESOME!!! And one of my fav things was to start a chapter (iykyk). Just giving this book 5 stars because it was such a pleasure for my eyes to read and for my brain to process.

the female main character was somehow difficult to understand. she kept using her grief as an excuse for her actions.. and the way she kept associating songs to the moments she was living was kinda cringe.

wes, the male main character, was such a funny, caring and dreamy character!

downsize to this book: we only got crumbs of them as a couple, i needed more… i guess we will have to wait until the second book!
