Ralston's writing is sharp and unflinching, making the reader confront uncomfortable truths and disturbing scenarios. While "Woom" is not for the faint of heart due to its graphic content and disturbing themes, it is a compelling read for fans of dark fiction. The writing itself was decent, the build-up was good, I just found it to be gross and didn't enjoy it as much as other books I've read. Great for shock value.
