This book is disturbing but in the most unexpected way!! If ur thinking about reading it I would say DO IT! It’s not boring and it actually will hold ur attention. It’s best to go into this book completely blind.

Room 6 has seen many many a horror in its day. And as predictable as the ending is, it leaves you waiting for the room to see that one more act of violence. I was just sitting there waiting for her to realize his true intent the whole time. The stories do seem a bit shock for shock's sake, but it's an engaging and short enough read that's that's not too bad a thing. Not for the weak stomached, but that comes with the genre.

What the fuck...

I was definitely expecting more splatterpunk vibes through the whole story as people made it out to seem but it really wasn't that bad until the end where I definitely felt a bit queasy as to what the fuck was actually happening.

Easy and quick novella, stories were odd and kept you interested and it all pieced together easy for me but that ending?! Seriously what the fuck is all I can say to this because I was not expecting THAT.

why did i read this??? for once, i trusted Booktok without checking the reviews or anything because i thought the set-up was interesting but as i continued, it got more disturbing and crazy and, for me, not in a good way at all. i thought each story had its kind of interest to it, but the ending was so weird and out of place, i absolutely hated it and i felt as if it did absolutely nothing for me.
additionally, i thought that it was weird that the n-word was used i think at least twice, despite the fact that the author is a white man? i feel like there is no need to use this word in books written by white authors...

also, the description of the prostitute's body was so gross... i can't really describe it but it is quite noticeable that this book was written by a man because he objectified her so much...
