Not quite sure how I feel. As an extreme horror novel it was good, I guess. Surprisingly well written.

I was a little dissappointed, maybe? I had seen so many people talk about the Main Point of the book and was waiting and waiting... And waiting..... For it to just be over in a page or two? (I feel like the story about Andy deserves perhaps more attention?)

I also found the part about everything always happening in room 6 extremely unbelievable. The same motel would've been perfectly creepy as well. It just seems too unlikely.

Giving this 3 stars just because I do enjoy extreme horror and if I had no critical thinking skills this would've been really good.

Lastly, why do white men feel like they need to portray black characters like... That? Just be normal about it. I feel like he was made black just so Duncan could type out the n-word. White man behaviour.

This is a hard one to rate, I did enjoy it and I think it does what it set out to do well. It is gross and definitely took me out of my comfort zone but overall was good read. It in my opinion a little predictable and there were parts at the end I wasn’t as big a fan of. If you like more extreme horror I think this is a good and quick read.
