Being intelligent isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Poor little Miss Brainy.

This book just stops instead of having a proper ending.

Gave me a good laugh at the end!

The best bit, alas, was Mr Messy's cameo.

I'm of the opinion that all of the books in these series are quaint. HOWEVER this one is not my favourite. I suppose the intension is to give the rude know-it-all their comeuppance (much like what happened with Mr Clever) but it comes across more like no-good-deed-goes-unpunished here.

Another classic from Hargreaves as I now have ten books to go to complete the series. It has been very enjoyable, and this is no exception, a great time to be had for all readers. I wonder if Alex will like or dislike being brainy. These things keep me awake at night.
Little Miss #25

I wish I could enjoy these books as much as my children do, if only for my own sanity.

Miss Brainy is actually smart and able to answer people's questions. We see several of the Mr. Men in the story and she makes her way to Cleverland and there she meets animals like Elephant, Lion, and Pig.

Nephew loved seeing the Pig in the Tree. A pig was stuck in the tree and needed help getting out of it. He loved seeing that and it made him giggle. He also loved to see the red lion. He thought that was cute. He had fun with this and he gave this 4 stars. Its all about the pig in the tree.
