I had the pleasure of reading this series via audiobook. I am sooo glad I went to that root because the accents and the narrator Tracy does a freaking fantastic job with this whole series!

Saint was a great book I loved the connection between Rory and Scarlet. My heart when out to her the most she really was out for vengeance, and rightly so.

Rory wasn't who I was expecting he was the hard guy with this big marshmallow center; I should have figured that would be the case from the last books. But I was still surprised.

There was a lot of action in this book, like the last for sure. But I don’t know something was just missing. It focused more on Rory and Scarlett and that was kind of it. Which is good but I miss the other characters sure they pop in from time to time but it wasn't like it was in the previous books.

Ghost and Reaper are my favorites of the series but I sure am glad I listened to this one. I hope Storm gets a book, I want no that’s not right I NEED to know her story. I think she deserves a HEA.

"He really is a Saint. And I really am the Devil. But together, we’re a match made in heaven."

A. Zavarelli is truly a talented and a phenomenal writer. Her writing is pure golden in my eyes. She is one of my go to authors and the one of the authors I am obsessed about. She writes that simply outstanding. Sometimes I am rendered as speechless. Every time she releases a new book, she manages to blow my mind. Saint is a beauty. Omg, that book was more than epic. It was a freaking apocalypse of mafia goodness rolled in the most finest and exquisite way. I was captivated me. I am in awe because Saint fucking slayed me to the brink. It was just a book that made me so happy and satisfied.

Saint is the story of Scarlett and Rory. We do meet these characters in the previous books and I am so happy that we get to know them more. However I am not going to divulge what the book is about. Trust your instincts and go in bling because Saint will take you on a wild and crazy ride. It definitely took me for a wild ride. Saint was a purely beautifully written piece of fiction that totally told of story of revenge, justice, love and action. Every page and scene was like a tipping iceberg of awesomeness. Saint had the right does of palpable tension that had me on the edge of my seat. I swear my eyes were so glued to the book. Intense, dramatic, emotional, angsty to the point that I felt shivers on my body. It was so dynamically charged with so much power and electricity that totally had me on an amazing bender. A. Zavarelli certainly outdid herself with writing Saint. She just keeps getting better and better. She gave us unforgettable scenes that made me so darn excited and fall in love with more and more.

"She’s the star of my darkest fantasies. The centerfold on every page of my favorite book."

Scarlett is truly amazing. Wow, I thought Mac from [b:Crow|30184290|Crow (Boston Underworld, #1)|A. Zavarelli|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1463194832s/30184290.jpg|48667481] was badass but Scarlett definitely out performs her on being a straight up badass. And Scarlett was a badass through and through. She was crazy. I felt I was going insane with her. She was independent, fierce, fearless, reckless and just so strong. I was so blown away. She was not weak at all. There were times were I felt so sorry for her. Sometimes I was angry at her. She is hard to love and warm up to her. But there was an air of vulnerability that made her humn sometimes. But she was a Devil wrapped in a beautiful woman.

"He smells like sunshine and ocean air and he tastes like hunger."

I loved Rory. He was dangerous and upstanding guy. He had a dark edge but he had a certain light that I was so drawn to. He was helpful, alpha and just a guy you would love to have in your corner to protect. He was at times possessive but I loved that he was there for Scarlett even thought Scarlett prove to be a problem. For a guy in the Irish mafia, he was a guy you can count on to sort out your problems.

Both Scarlett and Rory had undeniable raw chemistry that gave the story an edge and a lot mpre depth.

Saint was an amazing read. I cannot stop gushing so much about it. Its a book that will definitely linger in your mind for a while. It is definitely a must read.

Meh, this one was just OK compared to the first 3. I skim-read it, then tried to read it backwards. Didn't love it.

So Scarlett and Rory's story wasn't a favourite. I enjoyed it hence the four rating but I five-starred the first three books and also book five as I had read that one a while back. This one just wasn't as good for me as the others. I think the main reason for this is more than likely Scarlett. She just irritated the crap out of me. I found her selfish, sarcastic and not a very likeable character. I understand she had a tragic horrific backstory so I attempted to try and give her the benefit of the doubt but even with these mitigating circumstances I struggled to relate to her in any way. The way she treated Rory was abysmal and he deserved so much better this all unfortunately then had a ricochet effect and soured this whole book. So the four stars were scored mostly for Rory and his everlasting patience but despite my annoyance and dislike of Scarlett this was still well written and I was invested in the outcome.

Rory though was a complete poppet and Scarlett didn't deserve him. He went above and beyond and forgave her erratic behaviour over and over all without any assurances that she even cared one iota back. It wasn't even like she was efficient or had any sort of solid plan Scarlet was literally all over the place totally nutso and not in a good way either Conner definitely had her number all along.

For me, this was the weakest in the series so far but even with saying that it was still a good read that had an interesting fast paced storyline and plenty of character overlap from previous books in this series. Overall this series is amazing and you can't win them all this was enjoyable just not in the same league as some of the others.

Raw and emotional are two words I would use to describe this book . Who can blame Scarlett for wanting revenge , shit it was just a book but I wanted revenge for her . When an author can make you feel the emotion the characters are going thru they have done something great. Zavarelli does that in this book . You feel every emotion that Scarlett and Rory, are feeling . you want to help both of them on their paths . the ending was great and this book is definitely worth the read. I also want to know what happens between Booker and Storm.

Another great addition to the series. I loved that Rory never quite gave up on Scarlett, even though she tried *so* hard to push him away. I couldn't believe what Scarlett was actually doing on the streets. And I couldn't believe what actually happened to her that drove her to do what she was doing. She was a bit of a bad ass. I kinda wish she'd gone to Rory sooner, though I understand she had no reason to trust him, and the people she had trusted in the past had so completely obliterated that trust, so I get why she didn't get close to anyone. But everything had a purpose, and the story moved along very nicely. I liked the addition of the FBI agent near the end, and I'm very interested to see what his deal is with Storm, and whether Storm will actually ever talk to him. I hope that's an upcoming story!

I really liked this book. There was a good plot, nice twists, and lots of things to keep me interested in reading the book. It pulled some emotions from me that I never expected, there was quite a bit of rage for Scarlett's past.
Rory is such an easy guy to love, he's definitely a man you'd want on your side. I wish there was a little more of his POV, but this was a lot of Scarlett having to grow, not him. And grow, she does. The development of her is great and I absolutely loved how she turned out in the end, not that I disliked her in the beginning. She was hard to figure out, when I started reading.
I'd definitely recommend this book, along with the previous ones in the series, but I don't think I could read this one over.
If the author writes another in the series I will be snatching it up!

I love how raw and gritty the characters in this series are. They haven't been watered down or homogenized for the masses, they are realistic underworld characters complete with flaws and deep rooted issues, but that makes them infinitely lovable.

3 stars for Rory

And that’s where I leave it. I really couldn’t get into this book. I have enjoyed the previous books but this one just didn’t grab me and I think it was all Scarlet’s fault. I wanted to feel for her....I wanted to have sympathy....I did, I tried. But to me she was a TSTL female dog. I was actually wishing Rory would kick her to the curb because she was so ugly to him. I get a broken character but the character has to grow...and with Scarlet it was too little to late for me. I already hated her. So the story was interesting, I liked Rory, he was such a good character, I just hated Scarlet...so the book will get no more than 3 stars today. I will keep reading these books, just didn’t like this character.
