I forget how much I love this story. It’s no wonder this has been so popular for so long. Austen is such an amazing writer. I love the wit and banter and just the peek into another age.

i will say this. this book is good but it's not really as amazing as people really say it is. everyone acts like this is the most powerful and interesting book ever but i just think it's good and still a good book but just "yeah it's good" and then you move on with your day. i think that the more interesting parts are both charlotte and lydia's relationships and how much these decisions impact the lives of women and their families. i think elisabeth is kinda annoying and also i think with 2024 hindsight mr. darcy is definitely autistic. idk especially because i have read middlemarch now i kinda think that jane is just alright and is still impressive and i recognize all that's she done for feminism. i also just think sense and sensibility is better.

I've seen the movie adaptations and I've heard millions of people talk about Austen's work but still, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this story. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth are such charming characters, as well as many others, and I truly think it was a well-crafted story.

This book is a favorite and this is just one of the five or so editions I own. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the art that was placed throughout the pages of this book. Beautiful surprises were hidden between the pages of a story I hold dear! Thank you, Bastin, for the beautiful artwork.

A classic tale I've finally gotten to after years of prodding from friends. A charming enemies to lovers story as Elizabeth Bennett finds herself at odds with the aloof, prideful Mr. Darcy. But as their paths continue to cross, she learns there is more to him than his arrogance, and she may need to reevaluate her first assumptions of him.
