“Did you—”
“See you blow my brother until he questioned his belief in the Divine?” A devious smile curled the edges of his lips. “Let’s just say I was impressed, Shadow Witch. And that’s saying a lot for the lord of pleasure.”

I would have to say this is the best book out of the three in this trilogy! This book was full of spicy scenes, mystery’s and revelations of sorts that left me want to carry on turning the pages and reading more.

Book 2 left at a certain moment that had me grabbing for book 3 straight away, because who doesn’t love a good spicy scene. But since the beginning of the book the mysteries and secrets that was being spilled had me wanting to know more.
There was certain secrets that I thought about and guessed right, but other secrets just left me shocked.

Wrath’s brothers are hilarious 🤣. When I first met them I was unsure about them, but as I got through book 2 & 3 I just loved each of their personalities that shined through.
I also love Fauna and Anir because they are both loyal to Wrath and Emilia no matter the situation but, I also love their friendship with Emilia.

As I got to the second half of the book most/if not all secrets are starting to show through the cracks. Having Emilia piecing all her findings together and finding out who she truly is as well as deciphering the truths from the rumours was as great way to expand the story and keep the reader intrigued.

The romance, the friendships and the bonds that are formed just proves that love is the strongest magic anyone could ask for. That trust and forgiveness has to be earned and respected and that everyone has a choice.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and how the book ended felt like the author isn’t finished with the world just yet ☺️ x

Reading this book was one of the biggest bookish disappointments I’ve ever felt.  I kept hoping this series would get better because the twists at the ends of the first two books kept hooking me, despite how plot-driven they were.  But in the end, I’ve only wasted my time.  I want to give this book one star, but I can’t be cruel, although I really consider decreasing the first two books to three stars from the four I generously gave.

Ultimately, the series did not stop being plot driven, Emilia kept figuring out mysteries without actually doing any sleuthing or problem-solving.  I was so uninterested in her and Wrath’s romance that even the adult content bored me.  And in the end, her sacrifice was so anti-feminist.

I loved the first two books and was really looking foward to this one. About 30% in there were so many different plots/ story lines i had a hard time understanding what was happening. With the amount of content I feel like there could have been a fourth book if the events were slowly introduced. Not sure but my least favorite of the series.

The steamy scenes use naive language in my opinion, and made it cringey. Great concept for a book though.
