Loved this book!
Rhode and Nina are endgame. He falls first, and he falls hard. Friendships turned to family, sacrifices turned to legacies, healing family & anxiety. I love how Nina loves Chicken. Seeing Nina go from a shell over her anxiety to a bursting ray is a delight. I loved reading Rhode and Nina fall in love. The laughter, small jokes, soft moments through anxiety & hard conversations, and the chase. Always coming back together, always showing up even with difficulty, as true love does. I loved the friendship and brotherhood of the men on the ice, how they embraced their feelings and showed how real mean cry. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for Wyatt’s book in August! I hope we get a glimpse oof Rhode & Nina
after her graduation and the start of   her fellowship in Argentina!! I would.  love a glimpse of retired Rhode        and aspiring Nina, following their   Hearts and dreams, maybe mini tthem? 🥹🤣

How Rhode loves Nina >

“I brush my lashes against her warm cheek like she said her sister used to do.“ 🥹 loving her unapologetically even when he didn’t know it was love, just being a soft, gentleman.

“Don’t lie and say this means nothing when you mean everything to me.”

I liked the anxiety representation in this book. Rhode and Nina are a cute couple that fit together well, however I found the writing style a little cringey and the author tended to over explain things instead of letting the read make connections for themselves.

This book was so much fun and such an enjoyable read! This had to be one of my favorite romance reads of the year thus far. The anxiety rep, the spice, the tension! I loved it all so much. This just made me remember how much I love hockey romances and that I need to dive more into this genre! I definitely cannot wait to read the next installment in this series by Meredith Trapp!

This. Book. Made. Me. Feel. Seen.
I have panic disorder myself, and I absolutely loved seeing the representation of panic attacks and how much it can truly affect our day-to-day life. Even simply going crowded places can be so overwhelming and overstimulating, and Nina captures this perfectly in her narration and reactions to things. This is the first book that I have truly labeled so many things as “Relatable AF” (shout out to probably smut for the annotation tabs and guide hehe). It was just so nice to see something depicted on the page and be able to relate to Nina’s character so much. As I writer myself, I always try to include representation in my own characters, and anxiety is one that I always try to include. Trapp executes this perfectly.

This was my first age gap romance, but I actually enjoyed it way more than expected. Rhode and Nina’s love story is one of my favorites now.
The way that their love naturally built up and the fact that they made so much sense by the end, was so satisfying.

The spice, was immaculate. These scenes were written so well and so gOOD. I was literally blushing and giggling internally as I read. I genuinely think Trapp does these scenes in such an effective manner, it only makes you root for Rhode and Nina’s love ten times more.

In the end, I really enjoyed this book. It was so funny, heartwarming, inspiring, touching, and exciting to read. I was so compelled by the story the entire time that I read, and I know that I will be thinking about this story for a long time after finishing reading it. I rate this book 5/5 stars! 🌟

This was cute! I liked Rhode and Nina. The book was pretty trope heavy, and had some really awkard moments, but it was a good book overall. I'm looking forward to the next one!
