The marketing for this felt misleading. I thought I was reading a winter romance and really it was set mostly in Autumn and it was more about the main character's growth as she leaves her incredibly immature husband. For some reason most of the book was about the ex-husband and how awful he was instead of the male love interest. They did create a Victorian Era book club which I really enjoyed and wanted to join!

Loved this story about a 40-something finally finding herself. Clean romance but it’s mostly about learning to love and respect herself - and then there’s this whole crazy cast of characters and the village itself that is like a character. Narrator of the audiobook was top notch as well.
