What a fun read. James and Taryn work together and give each other a hard time every chance they get. It’s the holidays, and when they are suppose to be flying out, the weather doesn’t cooperate and they end up stuck in a car for 20+ hours..these two are the definition of, a thin line between love and hate. Cute story! Just a quick novella to put you in the holiday spirit.

I'm a sucker for Whitney G.'s books. The Office Games is a fast-paced holiday read packed with quick-witted, sassy, and fun characters. The dynamic between them is undeniably entertaining and incredibly addictive—so much so that I didn’t want it to end!

However, I couldn’t help but wish it had been longer. The short length of the story made it feel as though the plot was rushed, and I didn’t get a full sense of Taryn and James’s relationship development. Their backstory lacked depth, leaving me wanting more richness to truly connect with their journey.

While this installment was enjoyable, it would have benefited from more detail and time to explore the characters’ growth and romance. That said, it’s still a fun, festive read.

Honestly I’m just sad that this novella once again was not giving me what I needed. Everything is too rushed and while I understand it’s a novella, it was so rushed that it made it hard for me to really feel connected to the story or the characters. I also once again struggled with the heroine and I’m starting to think this author just may not be for me anymore.

I really enjoy Whitney G books, but while I ultimately inhaled this book in a short time, I could not for the life of me remember much from it. The middle book in the series was probably my favorite, so maybe I was still feeling that one?

Nevertheless, if you’re a fan, you’ll enjoy this. It’s light, easy to read and has Whitney G’s signature dialogue.
