This was fun! I wanted to read this before watching the movie, and I must say I can totally see how this would be a fun movie. I loved the dynamics of Howl, Sophie, Calcifer and Michael. They were like a little unusual family. I’m looking forward to watching this as a movie soon!

Of course I read this long after seeing the movie, but I loved the differences and similarities between them. I think both are wonderful, but there’s certainly quite a lot that was left out of the movie, for better or worse. Quite delightful.
