This is a beautiful book. I loved the way it made me feel. Melancholy mixed with hope. I want to write a book like this.

I've always loved Jhumpa Lahiri's writing, and this one stole my heart yet again. Although the plot was quite different from what I was used to in the Namesake, this one was a more poetic read. She has painted a life of solitude so well, it really painted a painting in my head. I also loved how each chapter was separate from the previous ones - different scenarios, unique thoughts.
Jhumpa's writing is so precious. Beautiful
