I made the mistake of reading a few reviews before I started this book, all of which were pretty dire. A lot of people were saying the collaboration between Lee and Andrew was a poor choice, that you could tell in the quality of writing and that the story line wasn’t gripping. To be honest, I completely disagree. I liked this novel far more than the past few! I didn’t see the ending coming and I saw some of the personality traits of old Reacher peeping through. Looking forward to the next!

What an absolute disappointment. Andrew Child does not understand Reacher or he is deliberately changing the character to match his own vision of him going forward. Every conversation was weird and wrong. The fight scenes are comically bad and not even close to plausible.

Another solid entry in the pantheon. I don't know if it's good or bad that, if I didn't know it already, there's no stylistic difference or added elan detectable, even though this Mr. Child's 1st collaboration with his brother.
Didn’t finish it I’m afraid, but I can’t tell if it’s the book or if I’m not in the right space to enjoy it right now. I might go back to it in future, but I enjoy Reacher for the crazy action, wit, and tension and I did not feel it in this one.
