Listened on audio and couldn't stop listening, but this novel was literally the most disgusting book I have read this far. There were parts that made me nauseous. A lot of descriptive torture and rape. Crazy plot twists - I was mad at Clare for not trusting the cops but clearly she was right in not doing so for the most part!
