That ending should be a crime, but I also love it?

3'5. Empezó super interesante y luego iba teniendo sus altibajos. Había partes donde era obvio lo q iba a pasar y lo q no m esperaba era porq iba a ser el super cliché. Pero aún así estuvo bien, aunq el final es un poco aaaaa.

this book was a nice read and got me out of a reading slump.
i think the emotional parts wouldn’t hit harder if the book took itself a bit more seriously.

I'm not like a big worldbuilding buff or anything, but I can appreciate fantasy settings that get creative with it. And books that transform into freaky monsters? Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never-the-same, totally unique, ne- *shot*

The way this whole premise is executed had me Hooked, the entire vibe that results from this little worldbuilding detail (big-ass libraries, filled top to bottom with bookshelves, full of secret and not-so-secret passageways) is right up my alley. There wasn't a single moment in this book where I found myself bored, it's very well-paced with well-rounded characters who play off of each other very well. Pretty much an instant fave, we are re-entering our adventure fantasy era baby!! (maybe)
