The Great Divorce is such a book. A book that grows with you. A book that's a classic. There were parts that I loved and parts that mystified me. But when I come back to it after growing up some more, I will (hopefull!)'get' even more.

Not my favorite work by C.S. Lewis. While the illustration he uses for heaven and hell is interesting, most of the ghost/ spirit conversations seemed to lack Lewis's usual perceptiveness.
I read this book again and again. When I was ill in high school and up at night this was my go to book for several months
