My favorite love trope. Loved the family relations and that the book focused a lot on their dynamic. Cute and addictive read!

This is one of those books I wish I got to read in high school when i was through my own teenage love problems. Having read it in college, I still found it relatable and enjoyable. I was throughly touched and crushed at the ending and I hope for a happy ending in the sequel.

I loved this book!!! I've been itching to read it since I finished The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy and it did not disappoint. First off, I love Jenny Han's writing and the plot lines of her books. Sometimes with YA contemporary I get frustrated because love is so romanticized that it makes the story feel contrived and utterly impossible to believe. I don't find this with Jenny Han, at all. I loved the main character, Lara Jean, because she was a firm believer in the romanticized idea of true love. But, throughout the book she learns that none of that is real. I couldn't put down the book once I started. I love all the characters because they are so real. The characters are deeper than what you see at face value and that's exactly what it's like in real life. Sometimes Lara Jean could be annoying and her beliefs were unrealistic but that's because she was a dreamer and a romantic. I also love the immersion of the Korean culture in the book. I love Korean food and Kdramas so it was one of my favorite parts! I didn't know if I would be able to get into a book so fast after I finished Paper Towns but I read it in a day. I am so excited there is going to be another book to this because I was left with a "I want more and there is no more" face. Jenny Han has become one of my favorite writers and her YA contemporaries are amazing. I will deff recommend this book to people

If you want to read one of those books where the main character only cares about her boyfriend then this is a good book to read. I actually loved it and flew through it. I gave it 4 stars because i did have some issues with it, for example i couldn't get my head around lara liking her sisters boyfriend... also, i couldn't STAND margot... i don't know why, she just really irritated me.

The plot really reminds me of Korean or Malay romance dramas, so if you enjoy those kinds of drama I guess you'll enjoy this book.
But be warned with the ending ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Very very cute and funny. I really like the type of writing Jenny Han has. Characters are believable because you love them and hate them all the same.
