I love reading snarky books about grown-ass women who don't have their shit together because ~~I can relate~~.

The author tries to make you sympathize with this entirely unlikeable character by making her somewhat relatable and fails to do so. This piece would’ve worked for me if it had focused more on the fleetingness of time that is mentioned briefly in earlier chapters and at the very end, but most of the book is spent covering the main character’s endless cycles between cleaning her apartment and hating her life. Also, her character wanting to be different and escape the cycle of her life is certainly undermined by the fact she is completely reliant on her parents.
