I feel like I should have sympathized with the main character more since she clearly has clinical depression... I just... couldn’t?

found millie somewhat relatable so i suppose it's time to change my life ugh

Kind of like "My Year of Rest and Relaxation," but not as funny and more depressing, if that's possible.

this was…. scary
millie was a really interesting main character and i found her very relatable. she is like if everything bad i thought about myself was true. her inner monologue was exhausting, but somehow still very engaging. i also really liked how everything was described so simple yet you could still feel the tension. i just wish something HAPPENED in the end. maybe thats a personal preference but i hate when books just … end. especially one like this that has a LOT of build up (also looking at you ottessa moshfegh). this is definitely the kind of book that should not be longer than 200 pages. not my favorite but still engaging and i would like to read her other books!
