I liked the concept, but didn't care for the way the telling of the story jumped around. Plus, if the story is being told from one character's point of view, they shouldn't be able to tell of things they weren't aware of. I wasn't happy where the book ended, with a lot of loose ends. Not really a cliffhanger, but just a messy way to end a book.

Not sure if I'll continue the series or not.

I truly loved this book. I was sorry to see it end but am glad that there are others in the series. A very well thought out tale of an alternate world. I enjoyed the characters and am looking forward to the next one. Excellent beginning to a series.
