The twist at the end of this book really took me by surprise and made me want to immediately re-read the book to see what hints I missed.
A lightly written read about a difficult subject. The author does an excellent job of getting you emotionally vested in the main characters. But the sudden ending felt abrupt and unnecessary.

Shocking, dark, promising, and surprising. You fall in love with the main character, hate so many people around her, and pray for Emma. This book keeps your on your toes then knocks you over. Great book.

The twist of this book was obvious to me from the very beginning. You have to read about horrible child abuse the whole way through that never improves. I wasted my time reading this.
