I was able to get my hands on an arc of this book, and I am very glad I did.
I very much enjoyed it! It's funny and heartfelt, and looks at fairy tales in a way that is both refreshing and comforting. Part of me wishes it were longer, because there's so much else that can be done in the world it creates, but I also appreciate that it doesn't try to do everything. It just gives the reader a window into the life of a dying girl who is figuring out her place in the world through the stories the stories she relates to, and that's really lovely.
