Uniquely humorous and endearing, A Spindle Splintered is a beautiful take on the classic Sleeping Beauty tale from the point of view of a woman who is her own Sleeping Beauty. It deals with tough subjects and tackles the acceptance of one's own death with grace and humor.
Sapphicism isn't the main focus, but it is present, and it is lovely. Also, the 'Harold, they're lesbians' meme is used in a way that was natural. I love it.
