the humor was a bit cringey at times but i thought the message behind it was really nice and the descriptions of the characters emotions made me genuinely cry its fun. also i love fairytale retellings and thought the way those aspects were incorporated were really cool especially in the last half and enjoyed zinnia's personality i really like her

Lists of great quotes. Fun read. I will be looking for more by Harrow. I loved The Ten Thousand Doors of January, so I knew/hoped I’d enjoy this one as well. It didn’t disappoint. The perspective and similarities between a dying girl and a cursed princess is unique and Harrow carried the theme well - all the way to the end.

I enjoyed it! Only serious when it needs to be, and fun all the rest of the time.
I actually always loved the story of Sleeping Beauty, and making a modern "princess" with a terminal illness was a great new take on an old tale.
