I didn’t exactly NOT like this but I didn’t find it that engaging. Unlike other reviews I did love Robin as a narrator (but I went in expecting midsummer references) I’m not sure why I didn’t like it but it was just a little boring to me. Potentially not in the mood but it is worth it if you like regency era romances with Shakespeare references

Alexis Hall cannot fail! Mortal Follies is sugar-spun whimsy and things romantic and wistful.

Highly recommend for everyone, but especially those enchanted and bewitched by A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
