Where are all these rave reviews coming from I swear did we read the same book,,, None of the side plot threads came together and the reveal was superficial and cheap. The first part of the book was sufficiently spooky, but then the plot is so slow and reveals come out of nowhere. Her brother in law being infatuated w her? Mark's whole character is irrelevant,

/booklover101 even less so. The themes around privacy/social media are never actually fully explored or realised considering who the intruder ends up being. The epilogue is abrupt and out of place. You're telling me Flynn couldn't come to terms w the big initial lie to the point they were getting a divorce, but was perfectly fine after this whole situation?! Pass.

Second of Clarke’s book that i have read and is definitely my favourite so far. Loved the continuous plot twists, constantly suspecting different characters and then getting proved wrong ! 
I actually liked the fact the protagonist is exposed. Unusual for a book and really caught me off guard in a good way !
 
Will definitely be turning to Clarke again for a good psychological thriller
