some of the short stories in this collection i’d give 5 stars; some i would say were pretty meh. picked this up out of the “get rid of pile” at the loj and i’ll be hanging on to it for a bit to reread some of these stories. it was wacky and weird and super chaotic, which is everything i personally search for in a short story collection

Bit odd similar to dangers of smoking before bed but less graphic

I like the approach to Cassandra and the humorous style. However, the stories were veryyy repetitive. The book fails to go further than the most basic aspect of white feminism, despite having a great set-up through the symbolism of Cassandra. However, I thought the first chapter and the "Midwestern Girl" chapter were memorable and entertaining.
