I didn't just read this novel by Jason Stokes, I devoured it. Once I started on this journey with Justin, the main character, I couldn't put the book down until the end.

Without giving spoilers, Justin has been able to see the dead since he was nine years old. He's grown accustomed to sharing his world with them until suddenly everything changes. Justin's life is thrown into chaos and he sets off on a cross-country quest to find out the truth regarding himself and his past.

I loved the unique premise of the book and all the twists and turns the author takes the reader on. I enjoyed not being able to predict how the story was going to end -- I was WAY off base. This book had a bit of everything - romance, death, healing, sarcasm, horror, and suspense. I laughed at times and shed some tears at other.

I hope there's a sequel because I can't wait to see what happens next on this journey with those who are dead but certainly not gone.
