This book was just fun, but there was almost too much in it. It was rockstar, second chance, forced proximity, recovering from religious trauma rom-com with paranormal elements. Mina is a medium who works for a paranormal agency when she gets a call to go to a rockstars house to help him with a haunting. It turns out they had a one night stand years ago, but both wanted more.

I enjoyed this book a lot, but I wouldn’t be able to figure out what genre this book is. It is spicy, but the scenes are short and there aren’t many, so it’s not super spicy. It definitely reads like a fun rom-com. There is a horror undertone with the paranormal elements. But at the same time it can be heavy when focusing on the sisters religious trauma.

I read this book in audiobook format and I enjoyed it. It was a fun read that had me smiling (hence the 4 stars). I also read a lot of different genres so the genre jumping didn’t bother me too much.
