It has been quite some time since I read or listened to one of Jodi Picoult's books and this was the perfect one for me to fall in love with. The mystery behind Alice's disappearance had me really intrigued, and continually guessing. I also found all the information and research with the elephants very fascinating, and brought another element to the story. Then there was the Psychic and spiritual side that drew me in too. There were so many elements in this book that were perfect for me and I couldn't get enough!

That ending and huge twist made my jaw drop! I did NOT see that coming, although I think I had a slight inkling but with the constant change in character's perspectives had my mind moving away too fast to even contemplate it.

Such an amazing read.

A compelling tale of elephants, family and a mother’s love wrapped up in a mystery of a book. This one truly captured my heart and left me appreciating how precious life may be and the ones we love.

First off let me say if you don't like Elephants don't touch this book, half the book is about her mother's life studying their behavior and how they cope with grief. Now, I personally loved this book. The twist at the end left me speechless and i had to put the book down to process what had happen. Jodi Picoult did not disappoint and I will be recommending this book to everyone I know.

Just ok

This was just ok. I didn’t care for the storyline. I did like the characters and how they were developed throughout the story.

My favorite novel. So well written, the time shifts and perception changes are amazing. You fall in love with all the characters. The twist still leaves me amazed and its been years since I read it.
