As always, this was a fun novel full of Mia's typical sarcastic commentary. I didn't like that her issue with Michael not wanting to go to prom was dragged out, though, as she literally could have just talked to him about it immediately and cut down on some of the conflict.
So there's a Rumor that Anne Hathaway is on for a 3rd Princess Diaries movie and my hopes are way up!!!

I didn't connect to the obsessing about the prom, but I enjoyed the hijinks with Grandmere and Rommel, and how one little incident led to a city-wide strike of busboys. Also, Lilly Moscowitz is A LOT to handle as a best friend, and definitely showed her more petty/self serving side in this installment. I was kind of proud of Mia for recognizing that and calling her out.
Michael is still a dreamy first boyfriend for a teenage girl. Tina Hakim Baba is still the best. Rocky is still an unbelievably stupid name to give a human person, of any gender.
