I'm getting a liiiiiittle bit tired of all the books in this book having kind of the same story line, but still love it.

Ok things are starting to look up a bit. Mia had started whining a bit less (the whole prom thing aside) and Lilly finally got her comeuppance.

A re-read for the read-along with Alina :)

It's my first time re-reading these books since I read them as a teenager and it's interesting to see how differently I react to them. However, I have to say that I definitely don't like the series as much as I used to and this book has been the worst so far.

I don't like how Meg Cabot mentioned Asperger's syndrome here. Apart from that, Mia was even more irritating than before and I don't even know what to say about Lilly. The plot seems pointless too, since Mia is making such a huge deal of a prom which is not even hers in the first place.

The prom! The prom! The prom! No one cares about the prom, Mia!!!

I swear to goodness, Mia is by far the character I identify with most out of any book ever written, but we differ so greatly on the topic of the prom. My friends had to drag me to junior prom and I flat out skipped senior prom for a debate convention because hello, I'm a nerd, priorities! And Mia is over here planning her entire life around this one night that she thinks she'll treasure forever and I just don't get it. But hey, by book 10 she'll be over it and I'll relate again.

The audiobook reread continues. I've finally gotten over narrator's voice.

God Mia is such a drama queen but I yet love her!

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I love stories about princesses!!
