Bizarre humor and sly innuendo, and art by Edward Gorey. What more can you want? Short and cute. Kind of a coffee table or gift book, really.
Best thing about this book for me, personally? I accidentally had a large book buying order shipped to my dad's house. He unknowingly opened this large box, and this book was on the top. Why oh why does it have to have a subtitle announcing it's pornographic! The "porn" is all innuendo! I don't even think there's any nudity in the entire book!

Gorey a écrit ce petit livre court comme une parodie d'Histoire d'O, ce qui le rend beaucoup plus drôle, pour moi ; dans l'ensemble, quand même, je n'ai pas été trop impressionné : le livre entier était si bref, et cela me rappelait davantage quelque chose que mes amis et moi gribouillerions au lycée. Une pornographie dadaïste, dans laquelle toute l'action se passe hors page, et toutes les descriptions, peu suggestives, elles manquent de précision. Malgré tout, je pouvais imaginer un court métrage d'horreur amusant basé sur celui-ci.

A real crowd pleaser, this one. One of my earliest Gorey experiences,so many decades ago, and I'm still haunted by doubts about what was going on at that party.
