Good book. Just kind of predictable.

This book was just okay and I just didn’t connect with any of the characters I was kind of bored through the book and giving it’s the last book in the series I feel like maybe I would of liked it a bit more if I had read all of them.

Fender's book did not disappoint at all. Hadley and Fender's book was so good! I was so happy to see Fender get a happy ending especially after his rough past. I enjoyed it and seeing thegang back together again. Broken Vows and all!

wow!! what a quick and easy read.

first off, PIXIE >>>

i am so happy that fender and hads were able to find each other and as they say, fix each other. i love that they were both able to be there for the other when they needed it (minus hadley…).

i sorta disliked how the book ends so quickly. i wish we had fender’s side to hadley leaving. i wish we knew more about what happened to them after. i just wish we had more? part of the ending felt unfinished.

i am so happy we got answers about bud and how that came full circle from the last novel and troy. i also did love how the other characters got incorporated into the ending, as we saw the full circle of everyone on tour (including dad, donny) & broken vows. not to mention them making music for river’s movie.

but i just feel this felt unfinished to me. still loved the book and didn’t want to put it down. but i wish we had more. overall still a great read.

Wow!

I found this book because of the author promoting it on Tick Tock. The description sounded really interesting so I ran to Amazon to borrow it.

This book is the first ebook that has captured me from word one go in MONTHS.

And ok top of that I didn’t want to stop! I literally devoured the book!

I am going to go back and read one of the others on the series!

This book was exactly what I needed at the time! I thought the characters were well balanced and I loved the way they connected with each other.

The banter between them was pretty cute and a little realistic. I like that the main problem was drugs and that everyone in this book has some kind of connection to drugs in some way, whether they take them or have relatives that take them, or know people who have suffered horribly from it.

Fender was very wholesome and I enjoyed that he always put himself first before starting a relationship or starting his career again. I did appreciate the hardship he had with opening himself up to the people who care for him because he's ashamed of his selfishness in indulging in drugs.

Hadley was very confident and I enjoyed that she was a supportive friend to Fender. She kept giving him confidence and let him learn on her when he needed help.

Altogether I very much enjoyed this book it was sort, sweet, and everything I needed from a contemporary romance!

-Standalone in the Wrecked Roommates character series. 5 of 5
-Fender has just been released from rehab. He has a drug addiction that one of his half brothers was his drug dealer and kept him into the drugs while his other brother was trying to pull him out of this addiction. He meets Hadley while visiting one of his old friends with benefits buddy. She has a dog in her apartment where they are not allowed. Her landlord is about to kick her out when Fender steps in and says the dog is his. He actually does know the dog, Pixie. She is his friend Bud’s dog. Bud is Hadley’s older brother who has gone missing, and she is keeping Pixie, so she doesn’t end up at the pound. Fender keeps the dog with him. He is struggling and hoping that his craving for drugs won’t come back. Hadley is worried about her brother missing and how he was supposed to be stopping the drugs and she thinks he went back on his word. Hadley and Fender got close. Fender caught Mia, Bud’s daughter buying drugs and he took them and gave her some advice and a lecture. Instead of throwing them away he kept them. Fender is coming back to singing and Hadley is a big reason he has been able to perform. Fender goes to a charity concert when Hadley gets a call that the police found a body and it’s her brother. Fender and Hadley decide to move in together and for her to go on tour with him. While packing she finds the pills that he took from Mia. Hadley things that he is going back into his old habits, and she can’t love someone that is an addict again. Hadley finds out she was wrong about her brother and with Fender. They decide to try again and have the relationship they deserve. This was not my favorite book in the series, but it is such a good story. It talks about addiction and how that can affect a relationship. It was so well written.
