A bit cliché at times, this book has a special place in my heart. The story is simply one about a boy, mole, fox and horse getting through life. Facing hardships and getting through them. It is filled with beautiful illustrations and quotes. A must-read.

Loved the messages and images (some of them reminded me of Le Petit Prince, which I also love).

A sweet, wonderful little book!

I went in expecting something similar to The Little Prince bc lots of people said it reminds them of that. While I can recognize the vibes, it’s just lacking from a narrative point of view.

The story is mostly an exchange of « good philosophical lines » between 4 characters. Philosophical lines that you probably already saw in Instagram caption, Pinterest post, etc. I’m not saying that they are bad, I’m just saying that lots of them are common sense/predictable. The quotes are cute and I see why people loved it but idk, perhaps just not for me.

I’m just disappointed bc I was expecting way more but perhaps If I went in without any expectations, I would have enjoyed it more. Idk I feel like the story is missing, like give us something more.

The art is original and pretty
