Haunting. Lynchian. Where is this? Who are these rabbits? I once got too high and felt that my living room was floating in an ocean of black nothingness. A void illuminated by the moon behind me. I was sitting on my couch, holding on for dear life when I realized what the whole experience reminded me of!

Goodnight Moon was one of my favorite books when I was really little. I think I asked my mom to read it to me every night.

I can believe that the repetition in this book is soothing and helps children drift off. It is mindless and easy for parents to memorize so that they don't have to pay much attention as they read it.

Classic bedtime story

A great bedtime classic to be read to every child, grandchild - even an adult. It will always be a favorite!!

My children and I know every word by heart. We also know where mouse is hiding on every other page. Love it

Blech, but popular. Needed something for G storytime. Will try not to roll my eyes while reading it. Ugh.
