This book rocks. There's probably so much more about it that I haven't picked up on yet, but it was still one of the best reads I've come across so far.

I'm really glad I read this. Arundathi Roy is always unflinching in her examination of India's disenfranchised, marginalized, and abused. We are all complicit. The Love Laws are real. And Baby Kochamma might be the most despicable character I have ever read.
