the first part would have been enough

Beautiful continuation of It Ends With Us. Could not have asked for a better way to continue their story.

Just finished listening to this book on my way home and thankfully, I didn't find it entirely shitty at all. Although I also think that the existence of this book is unnecessary, there is still an important meaning the author is striving to convey, that it is meant to be absorbed by anyone including those who did not even experience the same things the characters went through. The awesome thing about this is that it made me feel "something"—a quiet tug to my heart—I can't even contain my emotion as I giggled sometimes and teared up a little at another. There are shitty people in this book, but you cannot resist to feel sympathy over those who suffered from pain—both physically and emotionally, from both domestic violence and bad parenthood. Now I only wish that those who experience these problems might soon have what Lily and Atlas got by the end of the story... and that they deserved it.

I like how the story was wrapped up (even though I feel like I would have changed the last chapter). I liked to see how Lily became more mature and loved to know more about Atlas.

I didn’t know what to expect for this book except for Atlas and Lily to have a happy ending but Colleen Hoover did so much more. I really enjoyed getting more on Atlas and his story and where she went with it. I finished the book feeling hopeful that bad cycles can be broken and how much having even the smallest amount of support can make the biggest differences. Also gotta say that I love despite how difficult it must be for Alyssa and Marshall but their unwavering support for Lily is incredible.
