Just like the first one this one is a around 3 for me again. This one was less spicy but the story line was not so strong as it was in the first one and I think for this reason only it was not as much hyped as the first book was. I don't have much to say about this I read it bcz I wanted to finish this duology to move on to the next book. But yeah there were several cherishing moments I loved and that was all that contributed to the rating 3.5. I see this one is trying hard but no.
That's all form me!! ;)

I wasn’t expecting anything from this book, I though did it really need a second…
But I honestly loved it, it was nice to see things more explained I felt like I got to know the characters more especially Atlas. I love how he is with her and how he treats her even after all that time. Not going to lie the end made me cry it was beautiful.

It was so wonderful to finally get to see Lily and Atlas back together! After everything they went through in their past, Lily's journey in the first book, and Atlas's patience up until now, they truly deserved a happy ending.
This one (for me) doesn't hold a candle to the first one in terms of impactful quotes, fluctuating emotions, and powerful self-improvement steps, but it certainly made me happy.
Lily continues her journey of breaking away from her toxic ex-husband, while also having to co-parent with him. On top of that, she's a budding entrepreneur and is dipping her toe back into the dating world. The characters I loved from the first book were back and better than ever, and we were introduced to a few new ones who added some great depth.
We finally get more info on what Atlas went through before he found Lily and what he went through in the interim before they meet again as adults. I loved seeing his backstory and finding out the family dysfunction he worked through before becoming the sound and stable adult he is. The surprise he received and how he handled it all was phenomenal, and I was so proud of and for him. He truly showed what it meant to step up and (like Lily did before) break the abusive and destructive cycle of his family.
Definitely a great way to wrap up their story!
