Enjoyed this sequel as it was nice to continue with the life of Lily and Atlas as they navigated their love story dealing with real life stressors and lifestyle changes. Did not enjoy it as much as the first book, but still really cute.

“Sometimes people think if they love a broken person enough, they can be what finally repairs them, but the problem with that is the other person just ends up broken, too.”

What did I say that sometimes a book meant to stay "single" and doesn't need a prequel and/or sequel? I think this book was unecessary. Not so much comment nor great impression for me.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I sort of agree with all the reviews that said this book didn't really need to exist. Sort of feels like a money grab off of her recent booktok success of the original. That said, it has some good takeaways about ending cycles of domestic violence and what joint custody and non traditional families can look like. Atlas is wonderful, if not too perfect, but also nothing really.... Happens.... You know? I wanted more Lucy and Alyssa.
