A phenomenal, emotional, and gripping second book, this beautiful duet is a must-read. The Heartsong Duet takes the top spot as my favorite book of 2024. I have a deep love for these two broken characters. It’s also one of my favorite grumpy-sunshine books. There’s something powerful about a broken man finding his home in a woman who saves him from the darkness. The mature nature of Jennifer’s writing is brilliant, raw, and real. Lucy and Cal deserve all the love. I devoured every diary entry Emma wrote. Even though she’s watching over, her spirit lives on. I don’t want to give anything away about this duet—just READ IT! Be mindful of the content and themes going in. Also, pick up the audiobooks—Gabriel and Charlotte are absolutely brilliant as Lucy and Cal. I will praise this duet for the rest of my life.
